So tonight while I was cooking dinner while DH was holding the baby...
There was a huge crash, baby starts wailing, DS starts wailing, I run out, DH is on the floor on his back and it looks like baby Kali is beneath his leg. DS is standing by the table. To me in that moment, it looked like DH fell and hit his head, DS knocked a tooth out and the baby's leg was crushed under DH. I grabbed her, she was okay so I put her down for a moment. I looked at DH and he was conscious so I went to DS, who was also okay but crying like crazy. I went back and picked up the baby and started nursing her and then DS too.
It turns out DH fell off the balance ball (he was bouncing the baby). He was reaching for something then went to sit down and fell off. Or rather it rolled away and wasn't there when he sat down. OMG.
I think everyone is okay. But my nerves were and are somewhat shattered. He thinks he may have hurt his tailbone, we will see. I'm thinking, oh goodness, how am I ever going to get dinner ever done ever if he can't hold the baby anymore if his back is hurt etc.
