Yes, it should be started after you are certain you've o'd (so 2 or 3 dpo is safe) then it must be discontinued if you get a BFN at 14dpo or AF will not come.

My dr actually recommended continuing on it until 12 weeks along.

I'm surprised. Maybe it depends on the dosage, my from what I've read and from what my dr told me, it could stop ovulation from happening and also could result in no AF if it wasn't discontinued. I did take prescription p, not the OTC cream and my dosage was fairly low (100mg/day).

peilover010202- My OB said the same junk- but from what I've read, progesterone only can cause one to not ovulate if you use it prior to ovulation. The women here who use it, chart and usually start the progesterone a few days after they have ovulated, they then use it until time for AF. Sometimes AF appears on its own and sometimes the progesterone has to be stopped after a pregnancy test. Though if the test is positve, you continue the cream through the first trimester.

international prescriptions

First, I would never recommend that a woman introduce a medication of this nature to her body without the supervision of her physician or medical provider.

One thing that I don't think has been mentioned is that many doctors may consider allowing a woman to purchase this medication internationally, and agree to supervise the use of it...as it IS the same medication...tho often substanially less expensive.

Just a thought...

Hello,

What company in MEx did ou use to order the clomid?

MY DH and I have been TTC for a year. The past 6 months with the use OPK. I have regular cycles (27-29 days), but have NOT O in the past 6 months!! I dont think Im using the OPK wrong?

My insurance does not cover any fertility related expenses, thus, Im considering using clomid on my own.

Any and all advice you could send my way would be greatly appreciated!

i am certainly willing to put up with these kinds of side effects for chance at a baby and a complete pregnancy.

am am also supplementing with B6, vitex and EPO, and will use progesterone when i ovulate.

i think if you are used to caring for your own health at home, using a drug like clomid is no big deal.. if you are someone who relies on a doc for your medical care, then you might feel uncomfortable doing it.

My daughter is also 3.5 and we have been trying with baby #2 for over a year now. My hubby did the SA and he is fine. I have done a lot of blood work and the most recent one showed I was not ovulating. Our OB also wanted to do an HSG before clomid. My husband and I were not ready for that - 1) she said it would be about $1k out of pocket 2) if there is blockage (which she couldn't tell me why there would be after having a baby already) there is minimal they can do depending on what the situation is. So we told her we wanted to try clomid for a few months first and then see what our options are. She was open to that so I am on my first month of Clomid. I feel that if we do take a next step it will be through and RE. My concnern is that the RE will want to repeate all tests performend by the OB - and we will be back at square one...

So, I would go back to your OB and tell them you are uncomfortable with the HSG and ask what other options you have first?

I did and would again as well. Brang out my previously annovulatory cycles and got me pregnant on my 2nd try, twice.

I use frozen sperm so the quicker the better.

Also I would like to add I have seen my doctor and hubby and I are healthy and have no physical or health reasons why we are not getting pregnant. We have been trying for 5 years and with no luck requested getting clomid from our doctor but she wants us to try for another year. We are ready now. So if there is anyone who knows where we can buy clomid online without a prescription who has bought it online and had a succesful pregnany please send me a private message or comment.  Thanks again.

You can buy it at trustpill.com without a prescription.  That's where I got it and it helped me get pregnant.
