My baby is one month old today!

I can't believe it's already been an entire month since Ian was born... He's up from 8 lbs at birth to 9 lbs 10 oz - loves Mommy's milk! He's changed so much already - for those of you who haven't done this yet and are waiting for your first little ones, take LOTS of pictures and write things down if you want to remember them, because it goes so fast!!

Sending all of the still pregnant mamas good labor vibes -

Here's my beautiful boy last week:

He's beautiful Dana!! Is he smiling at you yet?

My little Meg is just over two weeks now. We've taken so many pictures and I'm so glad we did!! She's changed so much in just two weeks. She smiles at us, but not regularly yet. I'm looking forward to that!

He's not smiling yet when he's awake (should be soon, though - can't wait!). But he does have the "sleep grins" that are so adorable, and he even laughs in his sleep!! My other kids both had sleep grins, but I have never heard a newborn laugh before - he's done it at least 4-5 times, and every time I hear the laugh when I look at him he's grinning. I wish I could get it on video, but it's so fleeting and I never know when he's going to do it...

I've heard that the sleep grins come from a baby feeling "right" inside, so I guess when he's laughing Ian is really in a happy place !

Awww, Ian's so adorable!! Congrats on the one month birthday of your new little guy. Oliver's 2 weeks old today. He's doing the sleep grins and the occasional little laughs, too. Or at least they sound exactly like laughs to me. It warms my heart to see those grins, especially since he's gotten really fussy and I'm so exhausted. So I truly enjoy the times he's sleeping and happy!

He is a cutiepie! My baby girl will be 3 weeks tomorrow and it's hard to remember what life was like without her. I'm taking tons of pics and trying to remember to get lots of video as well because she's only got 3 more weeks of being a newborn and then that time in our lives is gone forever!
