I'm pulling my 15 year old out of High School. She has been very sick and has missed so much school at this point.

I have never done this. ANY help would be totally appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You can do it! It is one of the scariest things in the world pulling them out of school but yet one of the most rewarding.
Last year I pulled my 11 year old out 5 months into the school year. I was not planning on it. He was in Private school and they were more concerned about getting the blue ribbon of excellance then helping him. I went in for a meeting at 2pm on Friday and by 2:30 I pulled him out. Before that half hour I hadn't even considered homeschool. And really through that weekend it still wasn't much of a thought. Then I went to see 2 schools on Monday and they weren't for him. One of the schools suggested I homeschool him. She was a wonderful lady who gave me a contact district and book resources etc. Tuesday am he was an official homeschooled student. It took us a while to get into the groove and get the right curriculm. I was lucky enough that that wonderful lady lent me some school books till for him to use until i figured out what i wanted to use. Wednesday am I woke up asking myself what did i do? I walked around for a week terrified I made a mistake. But I didn't.
This year he wanted to go to school so we found one for him and he is doing great. However his younger brother started Kindergarten this year and we sent him off to public school. Only to once again pull him out in December. My 11 yr old needed the public school but my 6 yr old is thriving at home and will not be going back to school!

I was a teen who read The Teenage Liberation Handbook and I've got to say, it won't hurt for you to read it, but this is not a book about homeschooling a teenager. It is a book for a teen to read to take control of their own education. I'd give it to her.
