Pocket/pouch slings?

Is a pocket sling a pocket sling no matter who you buy it from? Or maybe in better terms are some better then others? The ones I've been looking at all look the same only the price seems different. Then I found this pattern and made myself one. I like it, I have only been using it for a week though so I am wondering if there are any features I should look at adding to it when I make another one or 5, a girl needs options right. :LOL Any links you can share of some you like that are a little bit different then this one, or have a special something about it? I know one site I looked at had a little loop on it to attach your keys too, don't think I would use that, any other features like that you like on your sling?

Oh and here are some pictures of me wearing it with DD, as well as a cabbage patch doll to show a friend how it would work with her newborn :LOL, does it look like I am wearing it correctly? This is a whole new world to me :LOL.

I like pouches that are reversible so that you can't see the wrong side of the fabric when the pouch is open or you do a shoulder flip. They look more finished. Here's some links to sites that have reversible pouches.

I also like the leg padding on some pouches. I personally think it would be more comfortable for my son when he is in a hip carry. Although, he doesn't complain in unpadded ones. Here are some sites.

I know a lot of pouches differ in their pouch depth so some are deeper pouches and some are shallower pouches. I think it is just a matter of preference and some people think some pouches work better for certain carries.

I think it's great that you can sew your own pouches. Have a great time choosing fabrics!

The sling looks great! We put a pocket and a toy ring on all of ours and the pocket is so great to have. I always need a place to keep an extra diaper or a credit card. And it is easy to sew on after the fact.
