My birth at Special Beginnings was the most positive experience of my life. I had some complications- water breaking 3 days before ctx with light meconium, but it was treated with...
My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
I'm looking into buying a wrap for DS because I like the versatility of many carrying positions. I was wondering if anyone has tried both a Storch and an Ellaroo; which do you prefer and why?
I have an Inka Storch and an Ellaroo LaRae and prefer the Storch. The weave is smoother and seems more supportive. I liked the Ellaroo just fine when Reese was tiny, but the Storch seemed to distrubute his weight better once he got bigger.
Like Jess said, though they're both woven the weaves are very different. The Storch is thicker and cushier and I do find it more comfortable for longer carries and with older, heavier babies.
The strorch has a smoother feel perhaps but I like the ER better myself. I like the lighter weight feel of the ER and it just seems easier to tie to me. I think the storch would be hot in the summer if you are in a hot weather area.
happy shopping

Thanks for letting me know your preferences mamas. I decided to order a storch because it seems it can be worn until my baby is older. I was a little worried about the heaviness of the fabric but it is cooler than hot here most of the time.
It's so hard to decide on these things when I can't try the wraps before buying as I have to do it over the internet. It's nice to have input, though, before deciding .
