I called it!Zoe's exciting arrival!

I had been trying to fend off the contractions since Thursday so that my mom could be here and I had been telling my body to try to wait til Monday.Technically it did listen.Everyone had just gone to bed and I had just finished changing into my PJs at around 12:20 am (technically it was Monday ) and I was going to get my youngest son from DH when I felt a little pop and trickle.I thought great I just got out of the bathroom, but then a contraction hit that was really fierce so I knew it was my water.I went and told DH who was reading the boys a book.My oldest wnet to the toilet to see where my water went and was disapointed when he didn't see anything.LOL I went to wake my mom up and then called my nieghbor to watch the boys.I called L&D to expect me and then tried to finish putting the last minute items in my bag and change out of my PJs (they were not going out PJs) while having contractions that were fast and furious.I was actually wishing that I could just stay home but I had come up GBS+ so I needed to get the antibiotics.I was feeling pressure as I tried to make it out to the car.DH sped through our neighborhood and right inside the entrance to our community a police car was waiting...of course they just had to pull us over. They took forever to get out and right as the cop got to the window a really big contraction hit and my water went from trickle to gush. he waved us on.The hospital is only five minutes away and it is a military hospital so there is a guard booth that DH almost sped through it without showing his ID.We get to the parking lot and the cops are right behind us asking us why we didn't go to the emergency room we told them thats not where I'm supposed to go.My mom actaully found a wheel chair for me which was really good cuz it took me 2 contractions before I could get out of the car and then when I stood up and sat back down the water was gushing out of me and there would have been a trail of water throughout the hospital all the way to the 4th floor! They checked me in at 1:04 am and the nurse had me go to the triage room and checked me.She said"oh my God, she's complete and ready to push!"The Dr was being all slow and worrying aobut my GBS test and the nurse was trying to encourage him to move faster. They ended up just pushing me on the exam bed to a delviery room telling me not to push yet and I tried not to but my mom could see her head making its way out on its own.I pushed her out before the Dr was ready so she came out onto the bed on her own at 1:11 am.She is 6 lbs.8oz. and 20 inches long.My tiniest one but she had a big yell and is very healthy. Since I was GBS she had to stay for 48 hours to make sure she was fine, but so far she is still perfectly, wonderfully healthy. Both of the boys love her ,my oldest cried when he realized that she would have to stay at the hospital and my youngest just wants to pet her.Zoe Maricella is definitely the little princess. My youngest isn't even jealous about my nursing her as long as he gets some too.(I didn't wean him)My milk is already in (I squirted myself in the eye this morning after some power nursing from Zoe through the night.
If I were to have another baby I really need to do it at home, thats the end of hospitals for me. I wouldn't make it.
Fast and easy labor vibes to the ladies who are waiting and I hope the ones who have already delivered enjoy thier babymoons!
