Ovulation question, had US, 1.3 cm fluid filled, bleeding...could I be ovualting?

Okay mamas my doctor thinks my depo shot didn't take properly.
I've been spotting one full month - just spotting no big bleeds.
Had US today for a suspected cyst on ovary - right one - lol thanks for the transvaginal but nothing on the right one.

My US guy and I are good buddies, he said there was a 1.3 cm fluid filled on my left ovary, I asked if I could be ovulating he said yep possibly it is but it isn't mature ...yet. A mature folicle would be about 2cm.

Anyone?
Could i be ovulating? Could I get pregnant now?
Or am I just one big hormonal mess with the mistaken depo?

Hi,
I would have taken an ovulation test. It predicts ovulation 24-48 hours in advance. You can buy one, for example, in Walgreens.

If the folicle is 1.3cm now how long before I might ovulate if it was going that way?

The US guy said the folicle wasn't mature so it was not a cyst...
so I could ovulate 'sometime' not sure how long it takes the folicle to grow to full size...

I just thought it was funny as my sister and I have both of our boys born weeks apart (even though I was on the pill last time she just told me she is pregnant again....so its kinda got me thinking...

but if I tell dh then its the talk, analyzing if now is a good time etc.
As we thought the depo was contraceptive...yeah same with the pill!

Ooh, the depo shot is tricky. I had my period for 6 weeks straight when I went off of it! I totally think you could be ovulating, you should check it out!

hmm maybe I will but if I was ovulating and didn't connect I might feel like I failed maybe I'll just see how it goes and in 3 weeks...

lol but I guess hubby would get suspicious anyhow if I jumped him every night... like that would happen anyhow with the kids everywhere.
Sigh I guess its weird cause I totally didn't think I could get pregnant as going off depo the last time took us 6 months...so I didn't think of it as an option, but then again we'd have to buy a larger car in 10 months if I do.

but I am doing strange things like thinking of baby names.
My son wants a baby sister to fill that highchair when the baby is done with it, he'd like to name his baby sister John (after my dad lol)

Follicles usually grow 1-2 mm a day, so a follicle measuring 13 mm would be mature in a week at the longest, possibly as soon as four days or so. Sometimes it takes two days after the follicle reaches maturity for the egg to release. So, if you WANT to try to catch this egg, I would bd starting in a couple days, every other day for a week. And if you want to avoid this egg, I would avoid bding for the next 9 days or so.

stopped spotting just curious when I could test myself?
I had the 1.3 cm on the 15th, if the latest that egg matured could be a week from then...or the 24rth? then that would be ovulation day?
So if I did ovulate on the 24rth... then its been 12 days so far since then...

Um, just wondering why you posted this in infertility? A lot of us would kill to even *need* contraceptives.

I guess I'll just take my damned infertile self off MDC altogether, and go pop some more drugs (I'm now on 5 different meds per cycle to try to *get* pregnant, thanks) and organize my stylish old-lady pillbox, since even the IF board is overrun.
