what's great? i'm not interested in a ring sling. but i need something to wear my 9 month old 25#er while i chase my 2 older kids around a resort pool for 3 days while dh is working....... links and coupon codes appreciated! my 2 fave reg carriers are my hotslings stretch cotton and my ellaroo wrap.

My personal favorite pool sling is an old sling that is so faded, I don't like to use it for regular use anymore. But, it's perfect for the pool!

The secret of a good pool sling is that it doesn't have to be a "pool sling" to work. Just like most baby things, pool slings are just one more thing to buy. Use what you have, or what you can get cheap (Ebay?) and it will work just fine. Do you have any slings that you have retired?

Sachi makes Solarveil mei tais. The woman who makes Octi mei tais also makes them in Solarveil, but I don't know whether she has a website. If you are registered on thebabywearer.com, you can read about it here and here.

Yes! to both of the above mentioned solarveil mei tais-I have both the above and love them! The Sachi has the foam padded shoulders which I love for the rucksack carry but I love the wrap shoulders of the OMT for longer walks. Can't go wrong with either of them! The hoods on them are a very nice addition too.
