a few neborn fluffy pics!

I x-posted this in Diapering Show and Tell, so mods, feel free to delete it if it's not supposed to be here!

Here are a few pics of my six week old in as many dipes as she would let me try on her before she had a meltdown She weighs about 12 pounds, so she's way too big for all my newborn covers. Please ignore her herniated bellybutton and heinous red marks from a too-small cover my dh put on her right before I took the pics...the red marks weren't as bad IRL as they seem in the pics (I've also ordered more covers!)

Anyway, hopefully someone can benefit from these pics. I always like looking at real babies in diapers to see how they actually fit. The Sandys, which are my faves, were super bulky at birth but by two weeks they fit great. Still pretty bulky, but they're designed to go to 20 pounds. She mostly wears gowns anyway, so a big ol' diaper booty isn't a prob! The Pattynaps are the best-fitting, and if I had to go with all one kind and could afford three sizes of dipes, I'd go with them.

I love your fluff. I find with the Daisy Doodles, the doubler is really important for long term use. I think I have that exact same color combo though for Joie! The small are still just a tad too big right now on Joie though whereas the Mutts are still fitting really well. 9 days from now though when Joie is Ivy's age it might be a different story though! Goodness they grow fast!

Just a word of caution to everyone about posting fluff pics in diapering. there are a group of people in the world who get turned on by kids in diapers. They've gone to MDC in the past and stolen diaper pictures to put on different sites. I watermark anything with a face in it and usually take down the link eventually with a note to PM me if you want to see the pics. Pics without a face in them are not as desirable to them, FYI.
