Janette Oke

I read all these books in junior high, now I am obsessed! I have been stalking ebay so I can get whole sets. Anybody else start reading these again after the Michael Landon Jr movies aired on Lifetime? I feel so silly like I have to hide them as if they are trashy romances--I'm not even religious or anything but I am such a sap!

I love Janette Oke! I have all of the "Loves comes softly" books and I've just started another one of her series called "Seasons of the Heart". Her books are so well written and are always so sweet! I also loved the movies (which, btw, were on Hallmark, not lifetime). She has several series out there that look pretty good.

Agreed. I devour pretty much every Janette Oke book. They are just good, wholesome, lovely books.

My mom and my sister and I used to grab up every one of these books as soon as we could find them and then see who could read through them the fastest - I loved them but haven't read them in a long time - maybe I'll go to the library tomorrow to check out a couple.

I love her books as well and was a member of her book club for a while. She reminds me alot of Beverly Lewis, so if you like Janette you might want to give her a try, her series Abrahams Daughters is awesome!

I too loved the Hallmark movies, I want to buy them on DVD:
