What color pink is that? My pink PUL from OSDS doesn't look that pink. I just made some training pants. I'll post a new thread with a pic of them.

That looks really nice! What pattern did you use?

I just wrote a great big post on your other thread about this *LOL* but lost it before I could send it.. I was going to suggest side aplix solid PUL because the FOE sort of makes a "cuff" around the thigh.I use the inner layer of the DD AIO pattern and cut the wings at a curve. Our covers like this got WAY more use than any wrap I bought for my newborn. I just use a size larger than I would for the AIO (or fitted) .. so for a newborn, i used the size small.. and for the small size, I'll use size medium etc.. The ones made from the small size fit my 5lb newborn and fit with room to grow at 10lbs even though she's outgrown most of her other nb covers I purchased.

I never had to reinforce the aplix, but aplix doesn't have the forceful grip of touch tape. You have to pull a lot harder to get touch tape to release so it probably would be a good idea to reinforce it.

with fitteds, I'm all about nylon pull on covers. Can't even begin to tell you how much I love them.. LOVE LOVE LOVE.. (not vinyl.. only nylon).
But for prefolds, these PUL covers are the BEST and I love mine more every time I use it. So trim and the way the FOE cuffs the thigh keeps the FOE from getting wet and keeps ALL poopy in.. never had a leak.

So glad you discovered these too.. you'll probably be disappointed with every cover you ever buy now

I was digging in my sewing table found about a yard or so of FOE and PUL so I though HMMM I'll try it
I LOVE it I was planning on buying 4 covers but I decided to make them instead which makes the DH happy(half the cost at least)
I use prefitteds which I LOVE The prefitted are so trim and so absorbant!!
This cover with a prefitted is almost as trim as a sposie
