Milk blister (white spot) on nipple

Hi mamas,
Anyone of you have experienced repeated hardness on your breast on recurrent milk blister during pregnancy? I seem to be having this every two weeks now and it's extremely painful. My baby is 18 months so he doesn't nurse all that much during the day. Any suggestions?

Oh my, those HURT!!!! I had a horrible one after my son bit the snot outta my boob one night as he fell asleep. OUCH! It got worse and worse til finally I poked the end of it w/a sterilized needle and squeeeeeezed as hard as I could. This long spaghetti-lookin' string of old, hard milk finally came out and it healed up quickly after that. It hurt really bad when I squeezed, but I knew it needed to come out. G/L!!!
