This is my 2nd pregnancy and with my DD, I was working full time and not very aware of my body- I didn't admit that I was pregnant until my 2 1/2 month into the pregnancy. This time around I knew from day one and have noticed things like my hips seem to have spread really fast. I have so much indigestion- gassy! ARRGH!!! It doesn't seem to matter what and when I eat. I already have the end of the pregnancy weird swollen hand thing. What about you?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

This is my first pregnancy...and I've noticed how TIRED I am. Tired doesn't begin to explain how much I want to sleep. Exhausted would be better. I'm also really gassy - my husband laughs at me b/c I get so embaressed when I burp. A little bit of mild nausea but nothing major.

Its hard to tell what are pg symptoms for me this time around. I'm really tired. I also have been sick twice since I found out
: I had a cold when I got my ++ and right now I'm getting over a stomach bug - no, not m/s because I also had chills and muscle aches. I'm just wishing for the run-of-the-mill m/s right now!!
I also am feeling fatter than I did, but I already had a head start on that leftover from my last pg
Other than that, nothing too weird over here. My boobs aren't hurting like the first time around - that's kind of weird. I guess every pg is different.

Julie, I think it is really common for breasts not to get sore with second and subsequent pregnancies.
My nipples are really sore though. Youch!
Also my tummy is really bloated (though some of that too is left over from last time- and the time before that).
So far I don't really have m/s but nothing sounds appetizing. I get hungry but can't think of anything I'd actually like to eat.
I am very thirsty and very very very tired though.

The only weird thing I can claim is that I'm cold all the time. With my first, I was hot all the time (granted, it was summer...).
Oh, and count me in with the mamas feeling a little wider sooner - nothing got bigger until the end of my first trimester last time, with this baby (at 7 weeks) I'm already in my "fat girl" pants (2 sizes up) and have pulled all my maternity clothes out of the attic!

This is my second pregnancy - and I really agree with how exaggerated the symptoms seem this time around. I didn't "feel" pregnant with DS until I got very slight nautia (never threw up) around week 8 or 10. While TTC this time around, I used a OPK to find my ovulation date. We BDed that night, and the next morning or morning after (can't remember) I woke up at 5am and felt extreme nautia. I never feel nautious and hadn't eaten anything unusual, so I knew then that I had conceived. Amazing, huh? After that, I felt dizzy, tired, emotional, etc. I tested 4 days early and got a BFP. The hormones seem pretty strong this time around. My hips are achy, and I already feel like I'm walking as a pregnant woman. My body must know how to act the second I get pregnant. With the M/C that I had - I never felt many symptoms, so I take the contrast to be an encouraging sign.

Nausea. Lots and lots of nausea. It feels like the nausea you get after one too many drinks the night before. Yuck! When I eat, it feels better, but there is only so much eating I can do before I start to gain a ton of weight! I was tired up until a few days ago but that seems to have ceased now, although I did sleep 11 hours last night. Just no daytime fatigue.
I would do anything to make the nausea go away though, its been for 10 days straight, and the thought of going back to work this week with it, just makes me want to cry!

I feel no m/s, but my boobs kill and I'm a little more tired in the afternoon, peeing a lot and freezing cold! I remember my feet always being cold last time, but this is ridiculous!

Oh my. I have possibly the sorest bbs in the world, lol. Am extrememly sleepy, no that doesn't quite cover it. I am bone-tired ALLLL the time. I have gotten quite sick a few times, plus I've gotten hot flashes and almost fainted a couple of times. I am at the end of 3 wks today, and I am already wearing maternity pants. I don't know what happened, but 3 days ago I woke up w/major 'baby belly', lol. At first it felt really fat and bloated, but as of last night I feel soooo......pregnant!

I'm feeling nauseated a lot of the time, totally exhausted, and I can't fit into most of my pants anymore! I also have the burping going on. No nipple soreness (thankfully! DS is still nursing).
I need to go buy some drawstring pants or something. I don't have enogh elastic-waisted skirts to keep me clothed all week!

I have saddlebags
, what is up with that?
I am normally pretty slim and DH pointed it out the other day when we were maternity clothes shopping (I know it's early, but DH wanted to buy me some clothes...he can be sweet sometimes). I've gained 5 pounds in the past 3 weeks. I'm showing a ridiculous amount for being only 7.5 weeks along. Maybe mostly bloating, I know it's not all baby. This is my 3rd pg in 16 years. I have my 16yo DD and m/c in Nov. It took a little while to get rid of the little pooch that had formed from then.
I've been a little 'agro' as my DD says. Had a disagreemnet with DH and went off on him. I really respect my DD's opinion & I asked her if he was off base or was I. She said I had a point but I went balistic on him.
That's what's happening this week

Preggo wtih second right now... I think the biggest difference so far (and very weird to me) is that I'm hyper emotional. I know this is said to be really normal, but I didn't experience it to this extent last time. When I get upset, I go straight to shaking mad! And when I feel a little weepy it takes a lot of effort to NOT cry. It's like the emotionality of last time to the tenth power!
ugh! poor DH!
I also don't remember this kind of exhaustion. But I've already had a few good days, which feels pretty early. Happy about that, but also nervous... could it mean I'm farther along than I think I am?? not a real question there... midwife and I are gunna figure it out in the next week or so.

My sense of smell is KILLING me! I can't walk down a grocery store aisle without strongly picking up a few smells along the way. And when I'm nauseous (which I frequently am), it's the last place I feel like smelling much of anything.
I can relate, Chrissy... I get hungry and can't find anything that appeals to me! I am so turned off by food of any kind 90% of the time. But when I can eat, do I ever make up for it! I'll have nothing all day, then two meals in a sitting :P
I'm under blankets all the time and wearing socks... Oh, and I can barely fit into my jeans anymore - at seven weeks. I've heard this happens with subsequent pregnancies, but I wasn't expecting it so soon!

Maybe more tired because I keep waking myself up at night having rolled over onto my sore boobs!
