I was cleaning DC's room tonight and noticed that her toys aren't being used much anymore. I've noticed a pattern in the past where she is no longer that interested in her things & activities but hasn't found new ideas. I'd like to help her. DC's interests seem to mirror many of their peers, especially female. I'd love to hear what your child is up to. Thanks!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

DRESS-UP! Anything that she can use her imagination, which is everything. She even has a whole world with her magnetic letters & numbers on the door. She tells stories, draws, pretends with her stuffed animals. Its crazy. I don't really even need to facilitate it anymore.

My DD has been drawing, and drawing and drawing lately. She has also just recently learned how to use the computer by herself (for games - she would never let me show her before) She's really enjoying playing games at pbskids and nickjr plus some games that we have here (like my little pony and blue's clues) She also likes to print out pictures to color. Another new thing is playing concentration and dominos.

My DD, 5, loves dress up. princess anything, play make up, play dough, baby dolls. She is definantly a litttle girl. But she also loves to play with her Daddy outside. Feeding the animals, doing yard work, He also gives her little jobs in his shop, like picking up bolts or trash. She loves it. She has also gotten into the computer games. She has Dora the Explorer, Blues Clues, Freddie Fish, & Masiy.

My dd is 5.5 and is truly interested in whatever her older brother is touching at the moment. She does not really have a thing she is into and must do all the time. She loves her stuffed animals and plays family with those and her brother, she loves drawing and being read too. She will play with dolls on occasion and board games with her brother. Right now she is doing her workbook. She loves when we do homeschool. I work full time so we don't but on the week-ends and vacations they both love it when we play school.

My dd is 4.3 years and is into make believe play. She loves to dress up, make cubbies, hold picnics with her soft toys and dollies. A new recent adition is 'shows' cat, dog or horse shows. She also enjoys setting up her farm or zoo Little peoples sets. Oh and trains, large scale, meaning she takes chairs and things to make it up.
Apart from that she will play with her musical instruments, legos, or look at books.
Outside she loves playing on her swing, tramp, cubby, or in and out of the padling pool making mud pies. (its summer over here
)
She also enjoys drawing, painting, and crafts were she can make things to play with.

When playing alone, my 4.75 year old Dd likes to:
Dress up and dance to music.
Make a mess, just for the sake of a mess, then clean it up.
Wash dishes.
Role play with her little animal figures and dolls.
Draw, cut, glue.
Look through books.
With friends, she likes to run around pretending something like they're searching for a friend how needs them, or there's a storm coming and they have to pile blankets and pillows on the bed to keep warm. That sort of thing.
With us, she likes to play games, do puzzles, ride her trike to the park or grocery.
