What's the name of this Reggae, "Alternative" Rock song?

Forgive me, this is really pathetic, I have almost nothing to go on here. But I've heard this song twice in two days on the local "alternative" rock station (It's Top 40 "alternative"). The guy starts out kind of, well, wailing-singing. Then he changes to singing-chanting, rather quickly and he's got a thick accent so I can't understand much at all of what he's singing. At one point he may sing something about "raising it up to my Lord". It has a fantastic Reggae beat. There's a rocking guitar solo at one point. And that's all I can think to describe.

Anybody have a clue who does it and what it's called?

You're probably thinking of Matisyahu and the song is King Without a Crown... I think this is who you mean.
There was another thread on here, maybe if you do a search, and another mom here knows him.. I think.
Pretty cool!

He's the one! "King Without a Crown" is the song I heard. Ane he's appearing at the Reno Hilton tonight. Ah, there was a time, Before Children, when dh and I would have picked up and gone to that concert, even though it's a week night. Reno's only a couple hours away.

Oh well. Dh kindly downloaded "Live at Stubbs" for me.
