CD question - Happy Heinies help!!!

So, I bought some new diapers this time around and I'm LOVING the Swaddlebees and Fuzzi Bunz, but I'm having a lot of trouble with the Happy Heinies and wondered if anyone here can help me? I'm stuffing them with a couple hemp liners (that have been washed about 5 times) or a microfiber insert (these work the best for us) or a prefold. They leak out of the sides so darn much! I know that they have that fleece there along the elastic to help with the comfort factor, but Meg's clothes are getting totally soaked in about an hour. I'd hate to think I've wasted my money. Any suggestions?

I've never used that kind of pocket, but just from my pocket experience in general (wonderoos/fb's) you have to make sure that the stuffer goes all the way to the edge.

quick thoughts:

-maybe you just need more layers of hemp?
-hemp may just need to be broken in more...doesn't absorb right away and some -pee may roll to the side?
-for more layers you can just double one of the liners up in front in the wet zone
-try a different kind of stuffer? With dd1 I used birdseye flats folded and they seemed to soak up the wet a lot quicker than hemp. I use hemp for overnights now, but for the baby days the flats worked just as well

The HH just might be too big still. I've got some XS that are still too big on Gabriella so no matter what I do, she leaks. You might try adding more stuffing as Heather suggested, top the hemp with a microfiber insert, the microfiber absorbs faster than the hemp which helps prevent leakage. I'm loving my swaddlebees right now too - they fit her so well!!

Thanks guys! I'll stick with them a bit longer and try the different stuffings in them. Yea - the little Swaddlebees and the smallest FB are the BEST!! No leaks with those.
