Well, I haven't really posted anything about the progress of my pregnancy, but I wanted to share our new arrival. After being a bit dilated for 3 weeks that we know of, and then 3 days of pre-labor, I had a very fast 2.5 hour hard labor before he was born. He gave us quite a scare, as my water broke at home and was full of meconium. Then, I was pretty close to pushing when we got to the birth center, and had to wait a few minutes for the midwives. Within minutes of getting inside, I was pushing. What we didn't know was that he was a footling breech. I had felt like he was breech for weeks, but they were sure he was head down at my last few visits. I knew something was wrong by the way dh and the midwives were "encouraging" me, and I can't tell you what scary feelings I had when I looked down and saw nothing but a blue foot. But, thankfully we were able to get him out, and after a bit of stimulation, he was perfect. He didn't even need to be suctioned due to the meconium. We were lucky indeed!
