Ds2 is 13 months old. What would be the easiest hip carrier for us. I don't like doing the mei tei on my back because I'm very skinny and it isn't very comfortable, and it makes me look even more like skelators bride!!!

He loves his wrap as long as we are MOVING. But he will sid on my hip forever if we are just standing still. Help!!!

have you tried a ring sling or tube sling to hold him on your hip?

I carry my dd who is 24 lbs that way and its not to bad for 30mins to an hour...

I agree the hotsling and unpadded ring sling are both good choices.

I my hotslings. I cannot imagine life without them! They are perfect for hip carries and they roll up very small so you can take them anywhere!

I agree with the others and say a pouch (Hotslings) would be great for you. I use mine with my DD when out and about shopping all the time.

I have an OTSBH, it worked great when he was small. But now it seems nothing I do makes the shoulder padding go in the right spot. Soooooooo Hot sling you ALL say!!!!! I'm gonna check them out right now, thanks mams.

Ditto ditto ditto! I can never say enough great things about my Hotslings. They are, by far and away, my favorite slings.

if you post an ISO on the TP you might find one. you can also check at babywearer.com. they have GREAT instructions for making a pouch sling, even a reversible one. i was able to make one and it turned out great and i have almost no sewing skills at all. they also have a for sale place there where yo ucan get a used or new pouch for a good price as well. HTH!
