Pls Help:Buying gift need ASAP delivery!--It Arrived!!!!

I am purchasing a ring-sling for a non-hippie pregnant lady and I need it delivered to Florida by Saturday Feb 25th. I want a neutral color preferably a cream or beige, something washable, unpadded for our tropical climate. I believe I prefer metal rings (plastic rings worry me). I need to be able to pay by credit card. I would love it if the fabric had little pretty designs but incredibly neutral and not hippie at all.

Maya slings are gorgeous but none of the fabrics will work for this Mama and I really want her to actually use the gift so I need to find something she would actually wear. I would love to pay less than $55 but if I need to pay more (not including shipping) then I will.

Yup, I want it all.

Could you please give me any and all suggestions?

I would recommend Attached to Baby (www.attachedtobaby.com) for really quick shipping and super customer service. IME, Angela always ships out within about 24 hours of the order and uses priority mail, or you could probably pay extra for expedited shipping.

Here's one with metal rings and it is solarveil, which would be like and cool for a tropical climate:

My problem is that I can't figure out what the Solarveil material is. Is it synthetic? Soft? Hard? Plastic mesh? I love the idea of the UV protection and the color isn't bad, I am just scared that she won't love the feel of it.

I have been checking out the Attached to Baby website and I totally appreciate hearing about your experiences with quick shipping. Thank you, thank you!

As Jasmine said, Attached to Baby is wonderful! She has super fast shipping and awesome customer service.

As far as a sling from there, I think the Oopa Baby Pique in white http://store.attachedtobaby.com/deta...opa-Baby-Pique would be perfect, but it's $150.

If this is going to be her only sling, I wouldn't recommend solarveil for a newborn. It is textured to the touch and I would want snuggly and soft for my newborn.

The Taylormade organic cotton mesh sling is soft and airy, perfect for a newborn and hot weather. It's a little plain.

I'm not sure who else besides ATB has super fast shipping that can get it there by Saturday.

Great, thank you for your input. I was about to order the Taylormade organic cotton mesh sling...but you're right, it's a little plain and I thought I'd do a quick check and see if I could find a pretty pattern that this Mama would probably wear and I decided to suddenly order the TaylorMade Batik Sling in Juniper Berry. She loves purple so hopefullly she'll love this sling.

Thank you to Teresa and Buglette for your quick and helpful responses. I did place my order at Attached to Baby and am very excited to see what it looks like in person.

I hope your friend loves it! Just to let you know that Angela of ATB just posted on TheBabywearer that she is a little behind because she had a huge sale on President's Day. She normally ships same day. I would just email her or call her (she's very sweet) and let her know that you need it for a gift by Saturday.

Actually, when you place an order, there is a little box for "special instructions" and I noted in there that I really wanted the sling to arrive by Saturday if at all possible. Well, I ordered it this morning then went out for the day and when I got back, I already had an email saying the sling had been shipped!!! Yay!!!! I really think it's going to be here by Saturday!!!

I'm very excited. I'm sure she will love it. Thank you again, Tereasa.

I received the sling 1 day after ordering!!!

Amazing service!!! Wow!!! And it's gorgeous, she is going to LOVE it!!

I can't believe it. My DH can't believe it. Amazing!

Awwww, thank you. I'm a relative, too, so I have a vested interest in trying to suggest an attached parenting style, you know?

I'm extremely excited about how beautiful the sling that I purchased is and I cannot wait to see her reaction when she opens the gift!!

Oh, thank you, Angela. I absolutely LOVE the sling and am thoroughly pleased with your fantastic customer service. Thank you very, very much! I loved how easy the actual ordering process was, with the shipping instructions box and just how easy it was to pay and then receive my order.
