he grabbed a toy today!

i just had to post!!! after 7 weeks of having no control over his environment (well, he would hit toys and they would bounce back and hit him in the face!), he actually grabbed a toy and held onto it for a long time! i took a pix but can't get on my computer right now to post it...will try later! im so proud of him!

That is so exciting! Is your baby 7 weeks? Scarlett is nine weeks and she's not into grabing things yet...is she supposed to right now?

i dont think there is a time they are "supposed" to and i think Ethan was 8 weeks on Sunday...he only did it once but he hung on for dear life! it was funny! i bought him a boppy with the toys hanging down from it...only toy ive ever bought him...and added some toys that i have and removed most of the toys that came with it.
fwiw, i was at the computer and he was beside me in teh boppy when it happened...if i hadn't looked down, i may have missed it! bad AP mommy!!! but i just wanted to check out MDC for a few minutes, kwim???
