I'm sure this is normal...but I need some reassurance. I have been so ill for 2 weeks - I'm not sick to my stomach, I'm just constantly nauseaus (sp?). It won't go away - its 24/7. There are no "waves". Whether I'm sleeping, walking, working, eating, not eating, taking a shower, relaxing - everything I do! I wake up to use the washroom at 3 in the morning and I'm nauseaus.
I'm sure I sound like a complainer, and I'm really sorry if this is normal and I just need to be told to "suck it up". I'm pregnant! What did I expect? Well, to be perfectly honest, I didn't realize it would be this bad...I actually sat down in the middle of Penn Station last night on my way home from work and broke into tears b/c I was dreading getting on the train and dealing with the train for an hour.
If I take my pre-natal vits, I am even worse so I've been avoiding them for 3 days now.
So, first of all, is it normal to have nausea 100% of the time? And is there anything I can do about it? (I've tried ginger ale, eating small meals throughout the day, eating carbs to help with excess stomach acid, etc.) I talked to one midwife a few days ago and she was like "well, at least you only have about 6 or so more weeks of this." I don't know if I can handle six more weeks of this!
Please tell me this is normal...again, I'm sure it is. I'm probably just being a wimp...I just need some reassurance. Even my DH is worried b/c none of our friends who have been pregnant have had nausea to this extent.
Thanks! And please feel free to tell me to "suck it up" if that's what i need to do!

I would suck on lemon candies or life savers if I really didn't need anything to eat. I kept raw almonds in my desk at work and dried fruit (I can't remember what all I had).
