Lightweight Windpro fleece?

I finally got my OSDS order! Turns out they've been trying to email me for weeks, the spam filter at work filtered their emails out I guess. They were super nice and their customer service is great, btw.

Anyway, I bought some lightweight Windpro fleece for covers. It is *really* thin. Will this really work as a one layer cover? Really? It feels like microfleece!

I'm sooooo ready to go home and sew! I'm almost upset that we are going out tonight because I won't be able to sew all weekend! (busy tomorrow and Sunday as well).

I had the same thought when I first got my lightweight wp. It's so thin HOW can it contain the liquid with just 1 layer? But it tried it and have been REALLY happy. One layer of lightweight wp works great! I can usually tell when my dd is wet because I can feel heat/cold through it and sometimes when she is really soaked it gets a little damp, but that's about it. Now if you want to make a truely bulletproof cover you can use 2 layers there will be NO compression wicking at all, but I find the cover I made like that a little too thick for my taste and I wonder about breathability.

it does work well. I wouldn't trust it in the carseat though. It will compression leak.
