Looking for a cool tool set/box for my almost *sniff* 3 year old

My ds LOVES to "fix" things. So for his birthday, I'd love to get him a wooden tool box complete with safe tools. Anybody have or seen a good one?

What else do 3 yr olds do? We have a new baby, so I'm looking for things he can do independently or with an adult... cool puzzles, games, what else?

I don't know about wooden sets, but my ds got a cool truck with screws, nails, and tools for his birthday. It has an electric drill with it and he can take the wheels on and off and pound the nails and screw the screws in and out. He loves this truck! I looked on toyrsus.com for a pic of it, but couldn't find it, maybe you could find it at the store.
