I my serger!!! A serger is an awesome thing! Last night I did 4 wipes and 2 inserts (both 4-5 layers each) in no time at all! And they don't look all that bad either. I still need practice, but wow!! I just did a diaper, and it goes so quick and looks so neat. I am in love. I also love my snap press, which I used on 2 diapers and 1 cover yesterday. I am in diaper making heaven!!!

I want to thank the ladies who reccomended this serger (White 1600 Speedylock). I'm so glad I was able to get it! :

Yay! I'm so happy you like it, I have a brother, and it was one of the best presents I ever got, I can't imagine making a fitted without it! (hint.. hint)

I am so jealous. I have a small $$ settlement coming my way and I've pretty much decided that I will finally have to break down and get myself a serger!

I want one too. But I'm probably going to have to wait until my birthday in august. I just need it for clothes and maybe I'll make wipes.

I just got a White too! But I don't know how to use it

The instruction booklet is kind of one of those "you need to know everything already to understand it" type of booklets.

I can't figure out how to serge a curved edge! I guess I have a lot of practicing to do...

You can use it for your T&T diaps too - just serge the body layers together. It's SO much faster than sewing! And then you don't have to worry about your absorbent fabrics fraying.

And you'll need to serge them so you can make them quicker when you open up your store... AHEM...

(I'm loving the farm theme you did for the diaper swap... do you have goats on that machine?)

mum2be, your's didn't come with a video? Mine had a video and instruction booklet and I found them both to be helpful. Plus I got a serger book at Joanns, though I haven't had to use it yet. Good luck figuring it out. Once you do, it'll be great!

You gys aren't helping! It's so hard for me NOT to go and buy one. I'm supposed to be saving money while Alex is deployed. But I think about a serger all the time.
I'm scared for myself.
