we're still not sure how to maneuver the "getting them both to sleep" part...so we're doing that separately...i'm downstairs with ava, dave's upstairs with rowan. but as soon as she's asleep and he's mostly asleep, i'm gonna go upstairs with her, put her in her moses basket inside the cosleeper and get in bed with dave and rowan. hopefully she'll stay asleep and he'll either stay asleep or go to sleep. and i can sleep IN BED tonight maybe.

although not for the reasons i expected. Ava slept like a rock the entire night. didn't stir until 6am, i nursed her back to sleep in the bed (first time ever) and she fell back asleep in the bed too! (first time ever)

Rowan was mr. acrobat last night...which i wasn't used to. dave says he does that every night but he didn't used to!! so that sucked.

but the WORST part was my BACK!!! omg...i was in SO much pain ALL NIGHT and i'm STILL in pain. i'm just so not used to being in a flat bed. i'm gonna go see a chiropractor this week. i have to. this is ridiculous.

i think from now on i'll be up there in the room at the very least and break myself into the bed. we have a recliner up there too so i can sleep in that if it gets too bad. the only reason i was down here was bc of ava but now that she sleeps through that's not necessary anymore.

so...i suppose it was a success in some ways but it also SUCKED ASS in others. LOL

oh and my previously nightweaned Rowan....nursed about 5 times. WAAAAAH!!!
