i tried baking soda/acv for the first time moments ago. . . . my hair is pretty soft and way less greasy than when i jumped in the shower. but a question. . . . is there anything you guys use while it's damp (or dry, i guess) to kind of add texture and maybe a little hold. . . . just curious. i like to air-dry when possible and some product usually helps it not look crazy.
looking forward to seeing how this goes!

All natural aloe vera gel from whole foods works well and keeps your hair healthy too!!

I made a small spray bottle of distilled water, rose water, distilled aloe and two drops lavender. Works great for me!

For hold I boiled 1 cut up lemon, strained w/ a 1/2 tbs of vodka in a spray bottle.

Beer as your final rinse is great. It's the right pH (near what your hair is naturally), the alcohol acts as a gentle anti-bacterial (good for scalps that sometimes break out), and the protein in it coats the hair shaft and acts a a light styling product (adds a bit of oomph to my fine hair and natural wave).

Of course, that will be just as hard as vodka to buy, if you're underage.
