So, before my sewing machine died on me, I did finish my diaper stash- the basics for after we move and don't have the diaper service anymore.

I hav gotten most of my fabric from Joanns- but I did find like 2 or 3 yards of vintage flannel at Goodwill for $2.00!! That's the white bg with pink flowers. All the fleece, suedecloth, etc... came from Joanns though.

Oh- and I never paid full price for any of it- all of it came from the remnants bin or 40-60% off sales!!

That is really incredible! I love the contour idea - seems similar to the mini-dipe discussion that's been going on around here lately. I love the big pile of diapers... makes me want to go home and sew, sew, sew! Your prints look just awesome.

Yeah, I love the big pile too- I think it looks more impressive! Or when they're in the stacker I made especially for them, and its all full and bulging.... then I feel like I did a good job!

I forgot- in response to where I got the fabric- I also used a bunch of flannel recieving blankets that I got at showers and traded for, plus I also traded some covers for 4 yards of flannel on diaperswappers.

Isn't making diapers just good for the soul? I mean, it's just such a pure, down to earth sense of accomplishment. And if they are beautiful or super lushious or a perfect fit, it's just a happy little bit of icing on the cake!

Yep! It looks like you have enough diapers. But I bet you don't stop...

I like the appliques you do on your covers.

Thank you very much- I just think dd should never have a boring bottom! I am working on making some more complex ones- maybe embroidered like strawbrahat's, although those are REALLY good!
