The Adventures of the Travelling Swap Dipes - Page 3

Goat pictures are coming. DS just went down for a nap, and I'm *quickly* catching up on e-mails/posts before I go do farm stuff outside, and at that time, I'll get some sort of goat pictures.

I love his 3 hour afternoon naps.

Trying to get the pictures off my camera now... For some reason Picasa isn't seeing it as an import device, even though it ALWAYS has before. :

Just so you know, my heart was racing a little opening this thread! I can't wipe the smile off my face, either.

Just to keep you in suspense longer...

The pictures are off the camera, and I'm trying to get them edited and uploaded somewhere, but my computer was running MEGA slow and I had to uninstall a program I installed recently (which is probably the source of my problems), then I realized that my disk space is running lowish, so I moved a bunch of pictures to another partition to clear that up, and maybe Picasa will run a little better now. Ugh! But there are some cute pictures... Not done as well as Earthenware's pictures - where you can't see what the diaper is sitting on. But what do you expect when it's windy and there are goats involved... especially goats who have run out of hay and think they are getting fed when I walk in!!! They did get hay after the picture taking session, so they are all happy now.

Isn't that just always the way? Good luck and take your time.

Actually, no, I can't handle the suspense anymore! We need goat pictures soon woman!

I notice JLav has been suspiciously quiet during this latest turn of events. Let's just assume she's getting too many 'Server is Busy' messages and gave up trying to post her support of this idea. Carry on Boscopup!

Well, JLav did PM me a little while ago, and didn't voice any concern about the goat pictures, so I assume it's ok.

Picasa is exporting the images I chose... I'll upload them to Flickr when that's done. I don't know why things are taking forever today. Maybe it's time to defrag or something. Downloading off the camera took forever too. For 63 pictures, I was able to go out and feed/water rabbits and water the goats, and it still wasn't done!

Goat pictures are here!

On the right side where you see a thumbnail, press that thumbnail to go to the next picture in the set and still see descriptions. Then keep pressing the thumbnail on the right side. If you view the slideshow, you won't see descriptions. :

Disclaimer: No goats were harmed in the making of this photo set. Although the photographer almost got eaten by an 8 week old buckling. Thankfully, goats don't have upper teeth in the front, so no damage is done until they get you in the back of their mouth. That also means that the diaper wasn't harmed in the making of this photo set either, even though some goats tried to nibble on it. Yes JLav, you should probably wash this one before using it.

Oh, and the mama pad in the pictures is the first one I ever made - done on a sewing machine, and it had more layers than I needed. It's the only one I have right now with wings to hold it onto a goat! Gidget and Anchovy were the mama pad models. There was no way to put it on in the appropriate place where a mama pad would normally be worn though.

Awww, I don't know which is cuter - your diaper or the goats! I want a goat now! They look so soft!

: Good job with the goats! They are super cute & it looks like they love cloth.
