Diaper Pics and Cover Question

I made one of my first fitted diapers. You can see it on My Blog by clicking on "View More Pics" under the picture of my DS. It looks much worse up close! I'm just learning to sew this year.

My question is about covers. I have noticed some ladies use wovens and PUL together. Wovens aren't very flexible but PUL is, so I am wondering how well this works. Do you have to change anything to make the covers fit better or do you just accept it will be a non-flexible cover?

As for wovens with pul, I just made my first cover with a pul inner, woven outer and the woven fabric does have a little stretch to it, but if you're worried, I would add a little length on the tabs so they're go all the way to the center. With dd, I don't think it will be a problem, because she's so skinny anyway!

They dont look bad at all. Mine sometimes still are alittle off and I've been sewing 2 years now

I think they look great. I think a lot of my stuff comes out crooked, if you looked at the pics I posted of my stash you can't tell, but if you look closer, like IRL- a lot of them are so messy!

I think I'll try an AIO or pocket next, just because I'm finished with my basic stash doesn't mean I'm done!

Thanks! My biggest problem is sewing narrow crooked seems, so that I sometimes miss a layer of fabric and then I get a fray somewhere after one wash because of it.

This is fun. I like learning new, useful things!
