I'm just being rigourous with you about the languaging. You educate from your stand and you are one of the most peaceful people around. Did you just have a big testosterone rush when you wrote that?
That was just a figure of speech!

Yes, I am a peaceful type. I think I used up most of my testosterone in my younger years. I had quite a reputation. I actually think it was greater than my actions but it was probably well earned too.

E~ just think of ALL of those people that read your blog and have clicked your links on no circ AND the links to carseats/car safety that haven't said anything to you that you have influenced them. Those anonymous readers that learn from you, and even unanonymous readers. (I put my 5 1 /2 y/o daughter back into a booster seat after reading some of the links. She had been without a booster for 6 months, so it wasn't easy, and now she has a new "pretty" one and sits in it.)

I love the way that my foster mom taught me, gentile, but informative. I remembered it many years later when i was PG with my son and researched and made and informed choice not to cut my kid.

You DO make a difference--just remember that you cannot force people that WANT to remain ignoramouses into being enlightened. The best we can do is to plug away, and save what kids we can.

Remember--i got your back!

I can feel for you, Splash. I used to care a lot about breastfeeding, but after hearing all the dumb, lame excuses people gave for not bf, I threw up my hands in despair. People give lame excuses for circ'ing, too. It does wear on you after a while.
I haven't been posting as much in the past two weeks, but in my case, it has more to do with being unable to log on due to the changes here on MDC. I was always getting "the server is too busy," or MDC is closed for maintenance. : Also, my real life has been very busy. I post here at my leisure, and I just haven't had much of that lately!
Splash, you are probably affecting more people than you know. Some stranger could read your blog and decide not to circ. their baby boy. The problem is, they don't tell you about it, so you never know that you influenced them.
