i just posted using that word several times in a row. and now it has lost all meaning to me. does that ever happen to you? suddenly the word "Twitch" looks and sounds like the most ridiculous combination of letters i've ever seen or heard. wtf? twitch. what does that MEEEEAN?????

the very first one this happened to me with was "chapter" and then "noodle". those have always been the worst. but chapter takes the cake for me. LOL

heh... I finally *get* this thread (having gotten around to reading the sling one!) ...

this totally makes me think of Black Sheep (Chris Farley, David Spade) when they're in the cop car, looking at the map and saying 'road' in all sorts of funny ways...

and I *completely* understand the way words can lose all sorts of meaning and suddenly sound totally foreign the more they are repeated!
