Okay, this is going to hard to explain so bare with me. DS 5 has lost one tooth already and the new one is a smidge behind were the baby tooth was. His other tooth beside it(both the front bottom)is a tad loose, now his big new tooth is already sticking out, if you could please touch your tonge on the back side of your bottom gums where the they start that's about were the tooth is poking out. Take him to the dentist you say? LOL not a chance he would never go yet, maybe when he is not such a scaredy cat LOL. So does this seem normal should I start saving for braces now LOL. I really don't think that teeth will start to grow strait after they have already poked out, or do they? Okay I just did the tonge on gum thing myself and my teeth are right there, so that was not the best way to explain it LOL, so what I mean is the new one comming now is way further back than the old new one. LOL

My dd had this when she was 5 five she lost her first tooth. Not to long later I noticed BOTH permenant teeth coming in behin the one. Soon after she lost her second one, but it was obvious that they wern't going to fit in that space. She is definately one of those kids that will be growing into her teeth.
Anyway I took her into the dentist for a cleaning and asked him to pull the other two teeth. He really didn't want to. Let nature take it's course and as quickly as she lost the first two these won't be far behind. My family strongly disagreed with the dentist and really urged me to get them pulled. My teeth were very similar. Anyway I did ask him to pull them he agreed at my request only. He felt it unnessacary. Anyway he thought he would be able to just pop out the baby teeth because the roots should have started to deteriate(sp?) He had to get out the big time pliers to get them out. Anyway he conceeded that it would have been another two years before she lost those two teeth and her other teeth would have been way up under her tongue. Now they moved all the way forward and are in a perfectly straight line. On a side note I did let him talk me out of doing it to her front teeth because of how long there would be a gap. And now her front teeth overlap horribly!! I was right and I knew and I let myslf be swayed, and I have come up with 3 grand for braces.
: Sorry so blah, blah
