I made up my own extra roomy round the crotch trousers!
Miond you I also found Burda patterns were cut very generously too

I knit mine.

But where do you guys find shirts that aren't snapped under the crotch.?? I have one pair of knit longies that I love for him to wear but no shirts to really speak of that he can wear with them??
You can always cut the bottom part of the onesies off and finish the edges with a zig zag or serger.
Yup, or just snap the onesie to the side of their waist, on the biggest snaps. Not always the best looking but it toally works around the house.

I don't have a ton of trouble finding shirts without snaps. I guess it depends on the age of your child though. Thrift & secondhand stores are always my first place to look for things like that.

I thought I've seen snap extender pieces for onesies...a little piece of fabric that snaps to each side of the onsie to add more fabric to the crotch.

Ok, i dont normally post here but to the person asking about the purpose in the baby legs, all the things mentioned are great, and they are perfect for baby wearing, BUT they are also perfect for Elimination Communication and potty learning so you can keep baby's legs warm and let them go nakey butt!

I am going to try this, thanks for the links, the pictures are great, We have the same problem, our Baby legs are just too tight on dds legs, but she loves them so much she always wants to wear them anyways!

Oh yes, so many monsters here..

Love the idea.. I have seen "babylegs" here and there, but never really checked into it.. loooooove the idea!

Ok, I'm finally coming around to these things (didn't "get" them at first). I have a question though, dd is in her strip-every-stitch-of-clothing-off phase and I'm wondering if any of you have a problem with your dc taking them off. She can get pants off no problem and while I think these might be more of a challenge for her, who knows I don't want to go through the trouble of making them if it'll just make it easier for her to get nekkid, kwim?

To the lady who knits her babylegs!

I'm a knit fiend and have been looking for a pattern for knitted baby legs. Do you mind me asking what yours is??

I just had to say this is an 'EEEVVVILLLL' thread. Like I need another 'compulsive obsession'!

Beautiful stuff!
