Sticky, sweaty, wet, YUCK!

I feel SO nasty in the morning before I can get a shower in. Wet shirt thanks to my leaky boobs, sticky (and stinky) pits, sticky, greasy hands (from rubbing Aquaphore all over Samara's desert dry skin). Baby puke on my shoulder or lap or both.

Let me just take a moment to say

I FEEL ICKY!!!!!!

im right there with you. does the Aquaphore help? where do you get it? Ethan's skin is getting so dry. we haven't had our bath ritual in a few days b/c of it.

and thanks for reminding me..while he's sleeping i think ill go take a shower.

btw, how many shirts do you go through in a day? sometimes i just leave them on b/c i know "in a few hours" i will be able to take a shower. but when i get up, i usually have spit up on me, my boobies are all sticky b/c i leak like crazy on the boob he's not nursing on, and i sweat like crazy at night sometimes too , so i do feel your pain!!

I can't believe that noone has posted about this before, because it is such a major part of my life right now. What is it about taking a shower that really helps with the EWWW factor? Just washing the pits doesn't help!

And DH just laughs at me some mornings - as he's getting ready to leave the house for the day at 6:30 am - when I stumble out with a fully soaked top, babe in arm and wailing toddler by my side. Um, honey, when AM I going to get to change out of this? Um, I will be wearing this milk-stained top for a good portion of the day...what fun!

I'm not alone? Yay! Sometimes she'll spit up on my shoulder and I'll get sidetracked by something (or someone) else, then a few hours later I'll catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I'll see this big yucky crusty puke on me....how attractive! Yesterday Mikayla asked me ,"Mommy, what is that on your pants?" Apparantly Samara had spit up and OVER my shouder and it landed on my butt. I go through 3-4 shirts a day....or less if I'm being lazy and figure, hey, it'll dry.

Rachel, I got the Aquaphor at Target. It was $14.99 for a good size container of it. It's super duper greasy! But it's awesome because it doesn't have a bunch of scary sounding ingredients in it. Samara has really bad excema, and the Aquaphor definately helps with the itch factor.
