Am I a wuss or something? Snap related...

I did 4 fitted outers woth snaps and my hands are aching now. Am I doing something wrong? Am I pressing harder than I need to? Do your hands hurt after doing snaps? It seems to take a lot for me to flatten the cap part enough so it will snap nicely. Any suggestions?

I don't think you're necessarily pushing harder than you need to, but what position are YOU in when you press? I've tried several ways & have the best luck with putting the press on a shorter table and using my body weight for pressure, so my arms & hands aren't doing as much of the work. I hope maybe that will help. I can put on quite a few more snaps than that before I really feel worn out. It is tiring, though!

My hands don't hurt, but the first couple of times I used the press it felt like I had done an upper body workout.

Using your body weight is an armsaver. Do you pre-punch the holes? I find it easier to press if I do. It does take a bit of practice to figure out how much pressure, etc. it takes. I can do them so much more quickly and reliably now than when I first bought my press.
