Hemp Jersey???

What is hemp jersey good for?

Inserts - Joeybunz inserts are made from hemp jersey. It's very thin material so you have to use more layers, but the end result is still pretty darn trim.

You could also use it in the body of a diaper - basically, anywhere you'd use any other absorbent fabric. But, as PP said, you need more layers. So while it looks cheaper than hemp french terry or hemp fleece, with the extra layers, the latter two are actually cheaper to use, IMO. Also, some of my Joey Bunz are falling apart, and I bought them new in August of last year. They started getting holes around 4 months after purchasing them. So that deters me from using hemp jersey too. I think the thicker hemps might hold up a little longer (I know they'll get holes eventually too, of course).

It makes a very trim body layer for AIOs and fitteds too. I would use at least 2 layers. It is very soft and stretchy, like a t-shirt.

Ok, thanks!

I love to use it as the body layer for a fitted...I like it paired with hemp fleece. It also makes great mama cloth.

That's weird! I've had ones that I used for a year solid before selling them with the outgrown FB's - I kept one for a doubler and it's now two years old and after all that constant use, it's now beginning to come apart in one section.
