Has anyone tried the Kenmore Ultra Mini?

I'm totally new to sewing. I've done a few very small hand sew projects, but have been recently been reading tons about machine sewing. I'd really like to be able to make some mei tais and CDs (for personal use and eventually for sale). Anyway, I have my eye on a Kenmore Ultra Mini. It seems to have all the basic stitch functions but is 3/4 the size of a reg maching and about 1/2 the price. I know it probably won't be a machine for "mass production" but it looks like it might be a good one to start. Anybody have experience w/ this machine. Likes, dislikes?
