I know this has been asked before but...

Should I buy 1/4" or 3/8" elastic? The OSDS site says that 1/4" is most commonly used and 3/8" for heavier fabrics and in the legs/waist of larger diapers. My guy is a slender 15.5 month old and 23lbs. I don't plan to make any diapers out of heavy-weight fabric, just flannel or PUL with microfleece inners. I may make a couple fleece covers since I have several fleece remnants but I won't be making many. Just debating whether to order a full roll and if I do, I want it to be the most useful width.

Thanks!

I use 1/4 for NB and sm, 3/8 for med and lg. Works great that way... at least for me.

Thanks! Good enough for me. I just needed someone to decide for me!
