help- get gold or porcelain crowns?

Help- I need to get a crown this week on one of my mollars. Does anyone have any information on the pros/cons for the saftey of gold vs. porcelain crowns? Is there any health risks to consider with these choices? (these are my only 2 choices right now)

It depends on whether you have any allergies, and what's in the porcelain -- sometimes it can contain nickel, which many are allergic to. Also, make sure they don't leave any mercury filling underneath it, if there is any now.
