Along with a box of chocolates from my sweet valentine, I got a Big Fat Negative this morning. So that's it for me until July. We're planning a trip at Christmastime so I have to be sure not to get pregnant until this summer, otherwise I won't be able to fly.

This really sucks. It's been close to 3 years since I've had to use birth control. BC really stinks when you want to get pregnant but are not allowed to.

Anyway, hope you guys had a happier Valentines day.

False negatives are pretty common. Maybe it was too early to test. I say it's not over unless AF shows. Think positive.

thanks so much, but I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing. I've been pretty pms-y this week (although I know some pg symptoms can be like that). I'm kinda hoping that AF will show up today and be done with it. I've been living on false hopes for about 6 months now. It's really eating away at me.

sorry about the BFN, beth. i'm right there with you. i know how frustrating it is trying to time a pregnancy when the internal clock is not working the way that you want. i'm also so frustrated that i cannot plan my life: vacations, jobs, moving.

but, you are right. it's time to move forward. hey, maybe bc pills will put you back on track? i found that blessings have a strange way of making it into our lives.

Oh no. I have sworn of hormonal bc forever. I just never felt like "mylself" for the 5 years I was on them before dd came along.

I expect to be back on track soon--the only reason I was off was because I am breastfeeding. This will only be my second post partum period.

But why do you think you can't fly while pregnant?

You're not generally allowed to fly during your third trimester (at least, not overseas). I will likely (hopefully) be pregnant when we travel, just not *that* pregnant. I just have to be careful not to get pregnant til July so I won't be entering my third trimester before we get back.
