not that i will be much better at writing, but at least its a place to put my pix!!!! i finally figured out how to go from Picassa and its sooo easy. Ive been using Picassa for over a year for organizing my pix but now i can get them online and that is sooo cool!

i just posted a pix of my teenager wearing Ethan in the swing. i hope this works: http://nhapmom.blogspot.com/

there shouldnt be any password requirement, i hope.

I added your blog to my favorites. It worked just fine, and I love that pic of Ethan in the New Native. He looks so content. I should put Greyson on his boppy for tummy time too, but he's too small still.

My blog is at:
Panthira's Blog

I had it over at Diaryland, but I hated it so I'm new at this site and blogging really, and learning Wordpress. When I have the (non-existant) time!

Looks great!

I blog at www.thisclassicallife.com/weblog and maintain a blog for each of my girls (links on the sidebar there). I've been blogging for more than five years! I'm totally addicted.

Rachel,
It's really not hard. The template is premade except for the header. It looks more impressive than it is!

Both of the blogs I maintain for my daughters are on blogger's blogspot servers with pre-made templates:
http://chroniclinglexi.blogspot.com/ - my Dec '05 girly
http://allthingskate.blogspot.com/ - her July 04 sister

there is one thing really cool about google's blogs. i dont know if you can do this with the other ones, but under froogle you can create a shopping list/wish list (like amazon) but with anything online!!! now, how cool is that for someone who doesnt have any $$$$???
You could add that to any blog :0) You just go into your template and add the code to your sidebar.

Great idea! I'm going to do the same thing.

Rach, I really like your blog a lot! I left you a comment =)

BTW, my blog is not nearly as interesting as all of yours, but if anyone wants a peek, the link's in my siggy. No family pics, it's just a journal of my knitting projects.

Hey, thanks, Rach! I think your picture is really pretty - if I looked like that, I'd post it to my profile in a heartbeat!

So, did you decide on the Ribby Wrap? I think it was me who gave you that link over in yarn crafts. I've been wanting to try that one.

My local yarn shop offers classes for knitters, from beginners to advanced, and also welcomes you to stop in whenever you need help. When I need help at weird times outside of business hours, I've posted to the MDC Yarn Crafts forum, and also to the Wooly Wonder forums. Membership to wooly wonder forums comes free when you buy a pattern from www.woolywonder.com. I'm not sure how it works if you haven't bought a pattern. I do think the help I've gotten from the forums was worth the price of a pattern, though, regardless of whether I knitted it up or not!

the Ribby wrap is what i was talking about! thank you! i purchased one and Ethan is now outgrown it...he only wore it a few times. i knew i should have never purchased anything expensive in size small!!! now its for sale! but i cant afford more, so im going to knit them. i HATE trying to join things, and i am so excited to be able to knit ONE piece. im still using the circular needles, which i like...but no joining and no cuffs!!! (I cheat on my cuffs and havent figured out how to do what you did on your blog). i have thought of posting pix of things i have knitted just for fun...so others can see how horrible i am!!!
