Just thought I would get some more name opinions. DH and I just can't decide, so we're waiting to meet him.
DS wants to name him Isaac and call him Ikey. He's certain.

Oh, and FWIW, our last name is 9 letters, starts with Y and is a Russian petronimic (ends in "ich").

Thanks. Our problem is that we like all of these! DH doesn't like Leo as much, but I love it.

Thanks for the suggestion of Thatcher. It's a cool name.
All the names we're wrestling with have a "reason," though, and I'm not sure I can rationalize Thatcher.

Am I the only one who voted Dashiell? I love it! Plus he will probably love being called "Dash" which my 6yo thinks is really cool.

I Asher!

I like them all apart from Walker, which doesn't sound as strong or handsome as the others to me. The other names all have nice meanings, too, which is important to me personally.

Leo or Dashiell are my favourites! Handsome, strong and not too common.

Good luck!

I voted for Leo, but Dashiell is a close second!

I LOVE Asher (happy) and Issac (laughter)! And Hebrew names always go nicely with Russian last names.

I'm just going to have to look in his eyes and figure out who he is.

Yep, I think you'll know!

My MW said the cutest thing the other day-- we have a boy name and a girl name picked out--she asked. Our other MW hadnt wanted to know, she jsut wanted to know we had names.... anyhow. We told her, and she said "Yep, you did it too." We're like, what? She says that you get a sense of the baby, and those people who end up with one girl name and one boy name-- the names end up being similar! She's right... our have a very similar ring..... not fussy, calm, bright-- just like baby! Or, what we feel about baby, anyway.
