And get this - it was on CLEARANCE! I nearly bought the whole roll just to barter on here, lol! I got four yards of lavender velour for $4 a yard!

Now, to figure out what to do with it all - lol!

I love how soft that stuff is...but beware, it makes quite a mess when you cut it up. I like using it for the inside of fitteds and for the soaker pad as well. It also makes great mama cloth.

Mine had it on clearance too, a few weeks ago. I got two yards of the yummiest aqua color...it's wonderful!

I'm going to hit the other Joann's in my area to see if they have another color...I only wanted so much aqua.

Oh do buy it and then sell it to us. I'm always looking for a good deal but my shopping time is SO limited that I get the hardest time searching. Our stores are always picked over.

I am quite aware of that one. I still have my yellow 100% cotton velour that I've been saving - used up all the pink stuff on making diapers I'm not happy with...when I used cheap stuff, I'd do fine, grr. But I was covered in pink fluff for awhile there, lol!

I'd offer to go buy some for people here but I'm sort of chained to the house with kids afflicted with a stomach bug (ew) and we're going to get lovely March snow, so I know I'll end up being completely unreliable.

I swear, if I had more space, I'd start my own diaper fabric shop - I love buying fabric! Then I could barter it with you all to make me the diapers, lol!

I've got you beat... I have a fabric outlet store here and I found 80/20 cotton velour for $1.99/ yard and he gave me a 1/2 yard extra because there was a bad spot in one tiny area. Its sooo soft and yummy.
