I liked the show so far, too. Looks like this Sunday's episode will be a good one.

Wife #2 bugs me for some reason. Wife #1 seems the most normal, although I like wife #3 a lot, too. I felt so bad for her when she was left to watch all of the kids.

Kinda OT: The daughter's co-worker (whose father is the state trooper) is Tina Majorino. I really like her (she was such a sad little girl on Corrina, Corrina, with Whoopi Goldberg). Both she and the daughter are on Veronica Mars (she plays a computer geek and the daughter is the late Lily Kane). Anyway, just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else was wondering where they may have seen them before.

So Roman is going to come after the family? He is threatening his own daughter technically and those she cares for. Disgusting, I hope he chokes on a chicken bone.

So far, I am not a big fan of any of the wives. Margene is kind of a brat IMO. And taking a nap while letting her kids scream in a play pen? The children in this family really are getting the raw end of the deal. The wives are so consumed with who Bill is spending his time with and they are always dragging those kids around checking up on him. Maybe it just seems that way, I don't know.

Just my rambling thoughts so far...

It's still kind of a funny show in a way. DH loves it so I guess I will continue to watch.

Can anyone give me a brief summury of what happened last night? DH for got to pay the satilite bill and we got or satilite cut off LOL We still have some channals, but not the one it was on. DH was so aplogetice about it, it was so funny. He promised I could see it next week.

Third wife is a screamer, the other two were complaining.

Bill is on viagra, so all the ladies are getting some, and letting the other ladies know.

Nicki is a real B, has sex with bill in Margies bed. Then she hears Bill and Boss Lady though the bedroom door. Nicki will not let Margie use her car, very vindictive of her.

I like margie. She is young, and you have to forgive some of her "mistakes" but I think she has the most real heart. As for judging her about sleeping with the kiddos in the playpen. Who among us has not been soooo dead dog tired that we needed sleep that badly. Her babies are what, 18 and 9 months old? I see a real caring relationship between the first and third wife. Can you imagine being stuck home, in that home with no car? She has every right to be asking for one.

Did anyone catch on the trailer that it looked like Nicki was....um.. servicing Rowland? She was on her knees, and Bill walks in.

Yeah, I don't really like Niki either. I think she abuses all their rules. That schedule of the day with him starting at 9 makes sense I guess, but she was mad b/c Barbara was still with him and she showed up with her two boys early! I noticed the clock said 5 min to 9am. And then she called Barbara a hypocrite. But who was truly the hypocrite. A couple minutes past 9am seems like less a violation of the rules than doing the deed on another woman's bed in the middle of the day! Wife #1 and #3 seem like genuinely sweet women with good hearts. Niki doesnt seem quite so kindhearted, vindictive and mean even. How does she fit in? I want more information as to why they would take the daughter of Roman into the fold.

From the backgroud on HBO.com, Nicki came to stay with them to help out when the Boss Lady was sick. Things happened between her and Bill and they decided to bring her on as a wife.

She is from the same compound as Bill. He probably wanted to help her get out of there.

I really am not liking Nicki after this episode. I saw the trailer for next week, and it does look like she is getting caught down on someone, but it doesn't show who (who is Rowland)?? I think it might be Ben. I can't believe she has 150 people over for Wayne's 5th Birthday....good grief.

I think someone here mistakenly has called 'Roman' by the name of 'Rowland'. There is no 'Roland', just 'Roman'.

Yeah, but what's funny is that the 150 people she invited are considered her immediate family. Who knows how many half siblings she has as well as half nieces and nephews? Interesting.

Well, guess what I just watched??? Episode 3 of Big Love!!!

My On Demand service apparently screwed up and has Episodes 1-3 available to watch. Part of me wanted to wait until Sunday night, but I couldn't. I won't spoil anything for anyone, but it was a good episode.

Too bad they didn't screw up on The Sopranos too...lol.

OMG! I gotta see if it's on our on demand too. I'm dying to watch it too.

I hope they go into more detail about how Nicki and Margie were brought in. I'm having a hard time buying that Barbara would agree to a polygamist marriage. Maybe if they showed them being more religious or something.

I liked how the daughter said she didn't agree with polygamy either when her friend told her she didn't.

Margie is adorable and Nicki is the character you love to hate.

I thought it was interesting that Bill's dad left him in the city when he was fourteen. It makes sense. A community like that needs a lot more women than men, so you gotta get rid of the boys somehow.
