Geeeez, that scene where she tells Frank he can "come in the back door"
I'd like more of her shotgun and less of her desperation. What did Frank call the music she had on? That was hilarious.

I watched the episode again. When Bill was talking to Ben in the basement, what did he mean by don't tell you mom. Did he mean don't tell her about the new business or don't tell her that I am encouraging you to live polygamy?

Neither, he meant don't tell her he made him a priest holder of the family. Of course I'm not entirely sure what priest holder entails. Pretty sure it has nothing to do with living the principle though because it seems like they believe it's a calling that only one can decide for themselves.

I don't think it was that. Becoming a priest is a common practice at his age and his mom would be glad (also expecting) for that to happen.

I believe that when he said "don't tell your mother" the statement was made immediately following discussion about how he was getting involved in a business where they wouldn't have to hide who they are and they could hold their heads high (something to that jest), so to my understanding, he meant, "don't tell your mother about this new business venture."

That is true, they discussed the business and the priest holder thing at the same time, so he could have meant that?

That's how I took it when I watched.

"Hootchie cootchie music" was what I think he called it, lol.

Wow, what a night. Can anyone else see where the story arc with Nikki is going? Just transferring her compulsive shopping issues to a new target.

I get more and more disappointed as time goes on. It's like the writers have been watching too many daytime soaps or something. I miss the Big Love of last season.

I love Margene. That is all.

Yep, my dh and I just looked at each other and said "oh no!"

Yeah, it is getting a bit dark and mafia like. Next weeks episode looks like things are getting way out of hand. And what was up with the music tonight? Anyone else notice that???

I like Margene too. And I was really glad that she thought for herself on the Weber gaming and didn't let Barb persude her. Sometimes Barb makes me mad.

I was hoping she didn't steal that money from the UEB to gamble with! I can just imagine Albie is going to blame Bill for the missing money!

I hope that Bill busts Ben for lying to Margie, that was so awful! He has absolutely no right to talk to his mother (whatever they call the other sister-wives of their mom) that way, I don't care if he is a priesthood holder!

I was so mad when Lois made it sound like she walked in on Sara and that guy (can't remember his name, the 28 year old) doing something wrong. Shame on her for using that motherly worry for her own gain!

Exactly what I was thinking too.....I thought at first that she was stealing it for something else. Then a second later I put it all together....
So She looks to be heading down the road of transfering her addiction somewhere else....
It seems like being off the compound has gotten to her a bit.

Who knows, maybe she has good intentions of doubling or tripling the money for the UEB?

I loved last night's episode. I thought it was cute to see what Margene would do with a little bit of power. She wears it well!

But what's up with Ben and this priesthood thing? When Bill was talking to him about Margene and Greg (the guy who Margene used to date. That was his name, wasn't it?) he kept saying "our wives".

And Nicki? Yep. I called that from the beginning.
Bill becomes more and more of a non-entity to me. They could write him out and replace him with any other man just to play the husband role and this show would still be about the women. And, I see Bill got really jealous over Margene's ex. Hmph. I guess he lied to his son. He can't control his jealousy, but has no problem continuing to ask the wives to do so. I lose more respect for him with each episode.

What's up with Joey and the almost-second wife? Was this discussed with Roman, or is she moving in and Roman has no idea because he's in the hospital? Wouldn't Roman need to approve this?

I think they are trying too hard with this "Margene the sexy one" theme. I'm still not buying it (no offense you Margene lovers ).

So, I guess a little bit of the strong Lois returned, although I do agree that what she said about Sarah to Barb was uncalled for. Did you see how she was looking at her boyfriend though? At first I thought she was just trying to figure out what was going on but she was honing in on his thighs pretty intensely. I think our Lois may need some, hence her offer to Frank, she is that desperate

ADORABLE!

does anyone else find themselves speechless at the sheer brilliance of this show? there is just so, so much that i have trouble even discussing it. so many subtle things, so many hidden meanings, and so much that looks different to you based on your perspective. it is the same feeling i get from lost, but for different reasons. this show make me glad that i haven't given up tv completely.
