Anyone having any premonitions about going into labor tonight?????

I'd been worried about it, but I'm feeling fairly solid today.

According to astrological lore, more male babies (and twins) are born on full moons (more females on new moons -- I'm a new mooner myself), so I've not really considered the whole could be for me thing (bean's a girl). But last night's cramps did have me worried for a bit...they've since subsided mostly though.

So I don't think it'll happen for me tonight. Got a funny feeling about St. Patty's Day for some reason though...or maybe it's wishful thinking at this point.

Ok, if she DOES come on St Paddie's day..... Carter's has the CUTEST "Baby's First St. Paddie's Day" stuff. <no beer icon here.... sniff.>

Seeing as I am 33 weeks as of today, I'm not worried about it! LOL But I have had some BH contrax last night and today!!

Not this new moon, maybe the next as its right when babe is due

Renee thats interesting about full moon for boys/twins and new moon for girls, I haven't heard that before.

Definitely not anytime soon-- but I do wonder about Easter, since it's my due date. That would be kind of nice. It would almost certainly mean not doing an egg hunt though for DS.

I'm due on Easter too. I've completely forgotten about Easter though...totally focused on the baby coming. My daughter was born the day before Valentine's Day (a month early) so we may have two holiday kiddos, or this kid could be born any day. I don't think it will be tonight though.

Hmmm... interesting!

My sister is "due" tomorrow, and DH is convinced she is having a boy...

I know she'd LOVE to go into labor. She's huge, and ready to get this show in the road LOL! Oh yes, and she's planning a homebirth, with the same midwife who attends her mother-in-law's births. YAY! Go sis! Go BIL!

I dunno - I would like a couple more weeks -but have had more contractions today....

I looked up the moon phase...I am due on the last quarter moon...which is actually when I was born too. DH was born on the new moon.

I have been having feelings about the 11th though - which is almost the next full moon.

That would be better.

I really REALLY REALLY REALLY want this baby to come out tonight but I don't think thats happening I had my 37 week visit with my MW today and she said 'okay you are perfectly ready to go, now we just wait and see when he wants his birthday to be' I'm due with a boy, I had regular contractions every 3 min yesterday (that obviously went away) and I feel like he's gonna push my tailbone out with his head...maybe that means something since its a full moon and he seems to be wanting to come out. I'm making a big strong cup of RRL tea to drink this evening hoping that makes me have some contractions again.

I'm exactly 38 weeks today and I was really hoping that this would be the night but nothing is happening... I looked out the window at the moon and said "hey moon, could ya help me out here?"

For those interested, here also is intellicasts labor predictor map for the United States. It goes off of the likelyhood you are to go into labor depending on the weather in your area. Right now all the US looks like its gray which isnt a good labor sign LOL

That's bizarre! And very cool -- am I an idiot? How do you change the date on it to see the forecast? Or does it only show current....

It only shows current atmospheric conditions.
