This will be my third birth. With my first I didn't take any birth class or really look into it at all. I ended up with pitocin induction at 42 weeks, luckily she was born healthy 30 hours later, with no pain meds. The second time I took Bradley classes and was very happy with all the information I learned. My dd #2 was born after 20 hrs and no pain meds! This time I am looking into hypnobirthing as I would love to have a shorter and less painful labor. I am also trying RRL tea. Has anyone tried hypnobirthing and if so what was your experience?

) But I was able to cope well from 4 am until almost 9 pm with just what we had learned in the class.

I was able to relax between my contractions - it often felt like I took a 30 min nap in between!! That was great. I did feel a little lost at what to do during my contractions though & felt a little unprepared - but in the end I must say my birthing experience was amazing & I was very fortunate.
