So, I just may be the sole person in the world to gain weight post-partum! But I did! And, not just a couple pounds. Anyway, I just wanted to do the happy dance with y'all, because I'm back down to post-partum weight AND... I even managed to lose the tiny bit of weight I gained during pregnancy. So, I'm down to Post-Partum weight and the few pounds that equaled Pre-Pregnancy weight! I still have 15 lbs I could get rid of though. And, I need more muscle. I really lost a lot of muscle this pregnancy. I'm jiggly and giggly!

Thanks for reading.

ha ha both momma's who had josephine's gained weight after having the baby. at least you lost it already, not me. today is my first day cutting out sugar, which is my problem, way way to much sugar and sweets. and i am working on an excercise routine. i need to bust out the pilates dvd and my friend is going to find out if his neighbors are finished with a double joggin stroller. good luck with your 15 i have 30, what a lot. i have never tried to lose weight before so this is all new.

I don't have scales, but I'm fairly sure I've gained weight too. I decided not to worry about it untill Aveena was 3 months old, so I've only got a couple of days left.

Chocolate for me today!!!

congrats Spark!

ive never had to lose weight before either. i dont know if it was b/c i had c/s's before or what, but i gained 25 lbs. with both boys before and had lost that and more within weeks. i gained 40 lbs. with this one (wow! did i just admit that) and i dont feel like ive lost any other than the babe and the placenta (that was about 10 lbs.). so, i still have 30 lbs. to lose and the weather has been horrible.

i am going to start runnign soon, if i can figure out a time to do it. we'll see! i feel horrible...none of my clothes fit and even the motherwear pants are tight!!

today was gorgeous though (up to 53 degrees!) so i put lucy in the mei tai, busted out the sidewalk chalk for katherine and madeline and i raked the front yard! i have the blisters to prove it

I did that after Jack was born, gained weight after the baby was out! It was awful. I hope I dont do that this time. I wish it would warm up so I can get outside. Its not the cold I dont want the baby out in, its the wind...

Glad I'm not the only one who gained!

Ok, I'm totally sending you get the weight off vibes to those who want them!

Judy - I TOTALLY hear you about being squishy! Fat definitely weighs less than muscle!

Spark & Judy - I'm also with you on the squishy. I think I've actually dropped below my pre-preg weight, but my arms are sticks and my belly is soft, and let's not talk about thighs

And we're having the coldest, wettest spring since I moved to the northwest.

YES - i'm below my pre-preg weight too but my stomach is toooootally squishy and my ass is cottage cheesy AND my hips are still wide! my pre-preg pants still don't fit. well...not unless i wanna look like i've got 4 asses.

on the hips bit... i think mine are migrating... probably not back to pre-pregness, but somewhere... i notice that if i sit a bit funny i can hardly walk when i get up because my hips are TOTALLY out of place!

Good job!

I'm feelin' everyone on the "squishy!" LOL

Way to go, Claire! I still have 25lb to lose out of the 65lb I gained during the pregnancy. I need to cut simple carbs and exercise... seems so easy, if it weren't for my addiction to nachos and Ethan's love of making cookies...
