Argh, Engorgement Sucks!

Ya know...I thought that by nursing Dd2 throughout this pg, I would avoid any nipple trauma, engorgement, etc, nope.

Dd has been helpful with relieveing the engorgement, but I still am having the blistered nipples that I had with both Dd's, sigh. I got a nipple shield the other day - I saw an LC with Dd2 & that's what I used & I was healed within days. I broke out my Isis yesterday & got 8oz within 5 minutes - what did I do with it? My Dd's had a tea party of course , little milk pigs.

Hear ya...

Plentiful supply here too, the little guy keeps choking and looking up at me all surprised. I've been pumping off about 5-6 oz per side just to keep myself sane. Not that I'm complaining - its better than not having enough! I bought the Medela Pump 'n' Style - its great.

Freeze it!! You never know when something could take your dd away from you and you won't be able to nurse her.

I'm with Maggi: freeze it! That stuff's gold, girlfriends.

I hear ya about the engorgement. Still waiting for DD to arrive here, but my memories of engorgement w/ DS are still vivid. I have teensy-weensy breasts normally (even througout pregnancy), but when my milk came in w/ DS, it was downright scary (and painful!).
